After spending three days in relaxation, the information about the second test is out, and all the participants have been assigned proctors. Fern and Frieren have been assigned the infamous Sense, whose curated tests have never been passed by any participants in the past.
However, considering Frieren and Fern’s skill level, that might change. The test is to raid a dungeon, which will probably consist of monsters. The aim of the test will be revealed. The test will get more interesting since all the previous teammates are now enemies.

The passed participants are dismissed for three days until the second test. Stark has been lazing around without Fern’s strict eye, but Fern and Frieren return, and Fern gets mad at Stark’s living conditions.
The trio and the rest of the contestants spend the day in the town. Ubel finds Land and wants to understand how he thinks as she uses magic by feeling and not by understanding its principles, while he is entirely different.
Denken visits a restaurant with his group only to see Frieren, Fern, and Stark eating there as well. Everybody enjoyed their food to the fullest, and Fern was happy again. Stark has been training by himself, and some old man comes to talk to him every time.
Frieren calls Stark to help her. Frieren overslept and forgot to go shopping, so Fern is giving her the silent treatment. Fern demands some snacks, and they go out. Meanwhile, Wirbel is looking for warriors.
Lawine and Kanne run into Frieren and tag along with the party. Wirbel finds Stark and takes him away to kill a Fresser, and he needs a front-line warrior. Kanne and Lawine thank Frieren, and she is reminded of Himmel helping others because he wants them to remember him.
The location and information of the second test are out, and Frieren and Fern are assigned Sense as their proctor. In the past, nobody has ever passed her tests.
