After the grand success of Sound! Euphonium, Ayano Takeda is back with another story. This time, the famed novel writer will be trying her hands at creating a manga series!
Hana wa Saku Shura no Gotoku is Takeda’s next work, and fans already have high expectations from it. Will it be another slice of life story? No one will complain, since this is her strong point.
Ayano Takeda along with the illustrator, Musshu, will be creating a new manga series, Hana wa Saku Shura no Gotoku. The manga will start serialization in the Ultra Jump magazine from 18th June 2021.
Musshu is a well-known illustrator who has worked on titles like Senpai ga Oyobidesu! and Furudashi ni Ochiru!. Her soft and expressive art style is most suitable to slice-of-life mangas, and she already has experience with the genre.
Several Sound! Euphonium doujinshis have also been illustrated by Musshu.
Not much is known about the upcoming series except that it is a youth manga story. This is the first time Takeda is authoring a manga series, but we believe that her ample descriptions and imaginative power will make the manga a hit.
Additionally, the novelist posted a tweet talking about a meeting regarding a new work!
We had a meeting for the new work today!
It’s been a while since I had such a solid meeting. The tension is the highest when making a plot, isn’t it?
I’m looking forward to writing from now on

In just one more month, we will be able to read the first chapter of the manga! Will it be another slice of life series, a rom-com, or perhaps something a little more shocking?
