Sorcerous Stabber Orphen’s remake was one of the biggest surprises of the 2020 anime season, but the new series getting such a great response was an even bigger one. Nonetheless, all that matters is that the fans were delighted to see their favorites again and get some new episodes.
The series got so popular that the franchise renewed it for another season in 2021 and then for a third season in 2023, which is uncommon for remakes.
As if this wasn’t enough, the official website for the Sorcerous Stabber Orphen has revealed that the anime’s third season will adapt the Sanctuary arc in April. The season is slated to broadcast on January 18, 2023, and will begin with the Chaos in Urbanrama arc.
The franchise has also unveiled a new key visual for the Sanctuary arc featuring Orphen and Azalie on the right, with Ed and Lottecia on the left.

The Urbanrama arc has been teased as more horrific and brutal than anything we have seen in the previous seasons. It will revolve around Ed, Lottecia, and a student from her dojo, Ryan.
Ed is in a conflict with Lottecia and also shares a mysterious past with Orphen. Whereas, Lottecia is in danger due to Ed and her student Ryan who is up to some evil schemes.
After Orphen and his party is done with the Urbanrama chaos, the story will continue with the Sanctuary arc. It will bring back Orphen’s sister Azalie which is a surprise as she supposedly died at the end of season 2.

Sorcerous Stabber Orphen is a Japanese light novel series written by Yoshinobu Akita and illustrated by Yuuya Kusaka.
