Sorcerous Stabber Orphen season one aired on January 7, 2020, and this show is a reboot of an anime that had the same name that was released in 1998 and was showered with love by the fans.
The reboot of the series didn’t do that well with the fans. Because of its somewhat confusing and hurrying storyline, it was not able to give justice to the series that is considered as a legend by some.
That being said, now that its first season is over, there is a second season in the making.
1. Release Date
The last episode of season one of the series aired on March 31, 2020, and soon after, it was announced that a second season would be released in some time.
The new season is titled “Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi Kimluck-hen” (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen -Battle of Kimluck-) is going to premiere on January 10, 2021 and will run for a course of 11 episodes.
2. Plot/Storyline
It is too soon for us to speculate about the plot of the second season. Still, we have learned from the first season that it revolves around the storyline of the same anime series, which was released in the late ’90s. Just the fillers are pulled out, and the story is hurried a little.
The 2020 remake only has four major story arcs. The final episode covers Volume 6, and it leaves the show with 14 more Volumes, so there is plenty of material to cover the second season.
Sorcerous Stabber Orphen Season 2 will likely pick up the story again with Volume 7: Convey My Will, Demon King! It will probably find a stopping point near Volume 10: Bow to My God, Traitor! Part 2.
A PV has been released for the upcoming season.
The PV features never before scenes from Season 2 and also gives a brief idea of what’s about to come Orphen and Azalie’s way.
The newly released visual gives a brief look into all the characters like Orphen, Azalie, Cleao, and Majic.

The English Dub for ‘Sorcerous Stabber Orphen’ is available on Funimation and Amazon Prime Video. You can also stream it on Hulu with its original Japanese audio and English subtitles.

A remake of this anime is released in 2020 as part of the franchise’s 25th-anniversary celebration.
It is the story of a boy, Krylancelo Finrandi, on his quest to save his foster sister, who turned into a dragon when an experiment to gain magical powers went wrong.
