Nagara met another mysterious figure, who convinced everyone not to blame him, and proved himself an ally. In the end, Nagara united with his friend and promised to find a way sooner or later.

Episode 8 Preview & Speculation
Hoshi revealed in the episode that he couldn’t hear the voice anymore. On the other hand, Nozomi also couldn’t see the ray of light, which means their mysterious powers are slowly fading away.
This could mean the end for students, as they might get stuck in this dimension forever. If the theory is proven, Nagara will be the only hope for them.
Moreover, the god’s voice also confirmed that it was Nagara who had caused the world to drift. So, if Nagara is not aware of his powers, all he has to do is master them.
We also got to know that the students become pretty much immortal after getting drifted. First, the talking dog, and now, Futatsu have confirmed it. Besides, the number of students that got drifted is even higher than we thought.

Episode 7 Recap
In the Drift Victims Society Meeting, the teacher declares that Nagara is behind the drifting incident. The students turn furious and demand to burn him alive. Meanwhile, Mizuho and Nagara find Rajdhani experimenting with ants.
Nagara takes the box of ants and runs outside, saying that he will set them free. While walking through the dark forest, Nagara hears a voice telling him that he indeed caused the drifting, and he doesn’t need to take responsibility.
After leaving the box in the forest, Nagara follows a bat and gets drifted to another world. He finds young boys like him moving heavy stones down the tower. To his surprise, he is blamed for the world drifting in this dimension too, so he introduces himself as Nagata.
Nagara learns from Futatsuboshi, his first friend in another world, that they were middle-schoolers when their school got drifted around 200 years ago, and now they’re building the tower to get to heaven. On the other hand, Nagara’s friends keep searching for him.
Later, Nagara uses his power and turns the dimension upside down to make up for everyone else. He walks all the way to the bottom of the tower, where he meets Koumori. Koumori reveals that he was the bat that led him to this world.
Nagara feels bad for causing all this and decides not to run away anymore. Koumori consoles him and says that he is now free as he has already convinced the students not to accuse him. Nagara unites with his friends later.
Rajdhani reveals that he will be voyaging for the next few days around the island to learn more about this world. Nagara and his friends also swear not to give up on finding a way back to their world.
