Earlier in the episode, a dog appeared who claimed to be from the same world. Keeping in mind what the dog said, Rajdhani and Nagara went through the films, trying to figure out some way.
A sense of relief finally arrived for the two when they discovered that they could go back by merging and editing the film of this world with the original world’s film.
Their happiness, however, didn’t last long when they found their alternate selves who were going on with their lives in the original world. On the other hand, Nozomi got another shock on discovering that her alternate self has died in this world.

Episode 7 Preview & Speculation
The interaction between Hoshi and students makes it looks like they haven’t given up completely and may soon find some way to make everything like before they went adrift.
It’s difficult to understand what exactly happened, but it’s possible that Nagara recreated their original world with a copy of them, and they were unable to sync with those copies.
On the other hand, the teacher always behaved suspiciously, and the dog confirmed that only students could drift. So who could she be?
Maybe a student who used their power to transform into the teacher just to create misunderstandings among students and drift them apart. The theory is yet to be confirmed, though.
The episode was unable to answer who are the original students and who are the copies. Moreover, whether the alternates of the students back in the original world are aware of what happened or not is also a mystery, and we hope it will be solved in the next episode.

Episode 7 of the Sonny Boy (2021) anime, titled “Road Book”, has been released on Friday, Aug 27, 2021.

Episode 6 Recap
Hoshi continues hearing the God’s voice and admits to himself that he knew the school would go adrift before it even happened. He reveals that he willingly went to school the day everything happened because he couldn’t leave the others to it.
At a theater, Rajdhani shows Nagara a movie about the things that have happened so far from his point of view. Meanwhile, Mizuho finds a huge talking dog in the convenience store and brings him along.
The dog meets Nagara and Rajdhani and reveals that he used to be one of the students at their school and got drifted away to another dimension like them. He claims that he enrolled in the same year they graduated and has been there for five thousand years.
The dog also tells them that there is still some possibility they can go back as the two dimensions are still connected. After some time, Rajdhani and Nagara discover that the two worlds can be brought together by editing the films and share their plan with everyone.
The teacher and some of her followers, disagree with the plan and insist on staying back. Asakuza even uses his power to stop them. Nevertheless, the students and the teacher successfully return to their own world.
When the students land in their school, they discover that it’s already graduation day. Everyone is shocked to find their alternate selves there and realize that no one could see them there.
Nozomi gets another shock when she finds that she has died in this world. In the end, Rajdhani concludes that it was not them going adrift, but more like the God rolled a dice. As a result, their doubles were created who kept going on with their lives.
