Meanwhile, Sung Jin-Woo is surprised that he can’t enter the gate. He tries to get through, but he feels like he is being blocked by a wall.
He wonders if the ones inside this gate are anyhow different from what they’ve dealt with until now. He decides that for the sake of the people under the gate and his family, he will not let those inside the gate create tragedy so easily.
Suddenly Sung Jin-Woo gets a call from Chief Woo Jin-Cheol. Jin-Woo comments that he will call Jin-Cheol ‘Chairman Jin-Cheol’ from now on. Jin-Cheol replies that he can call him whatever he wants and that he doesn’t feel like he is worthy of such a title.
Jin-Cheol says that he has ordered the hunter’s bureau to examine the entire area with a satellite, as requested by Jin-Woo. Jin-Choel reveals that for the past 3 hours, when the gigantic gate first appeared, no new gate has appeared anywhere else in the world.
He explains his plan of evacuating citizens who live near the gate. He asks Sung Jin-Woo about his plan, and Jin-Woo replies that he will plant an apple tree and hangs up the call.
In another scene, Hunters Association Gymnasium is in chaos as Jin-Woo trains with Beru. As he battles with Beru, he feels like he is not trying his best.
So, he asks him if he is really giving it his all. Beru kneels and answers that he wouldn’t dare to fight with his master.
Jin-Woo assures Beru that it’s okay as they’re just exercising, and only Beru can help him do that. Jin-Woo realizes that Beru is getting good at expressing, so he asks him if he has eaten a human somewhere. They restart their training again.
Beru unleashes his full power while fighting against Jin-Woo. Jin-Woo comments that he has become stronger after being promoted to the rank of Commander. He further tells him to keep working hard if he doesn’t want Igris and Greed to take his position.
While clashing, Jin-Woo thinks Beru is the most robust unit in his shadow army but still not strong enough to fight monsters. As they fight more, Beru comments that he is always stunned by Jin-Woo’s strength. They finish the training and clean up the mess.
