  • One is obtained during a main quest, while five are hidden in Crossroads.
  • Defeat champions to unlock new areas and acquire essences, then discover two statuettes through regular exploration.
  • Additionally, complete three “dream sequences” to uncover Solas’ plans to trap Elgar’nan and Ghillan’nain, rewarding you with the final three statuettes.

With all six Wolf Statuettes collected, proceed to the Lighthouse’s main hall. Place each statuette on its designated altar, triggering a series of cutscenes delving into Solas’ ties to Mythal and the imprisonment of the gods.

As the memories unfold, engage with your companions’ reflections and respond to gain deeper insight into Solas’ past, his motivations, and the complexities of his character.

After the cutscenes, reunite with Morrigan in the Crossroads. Discuss the unfolding events in Thedas and gain more intel on Solas. Then Morrigan will unlock a nearby path to a snowy realm, where you’ll meet a fragment of Mythal’s spirit.

3. Mythal’s Spirit Boss

After Morrigan unlocks a nearby path, journey through the snowy area to encounter Mythal’s spirit. Choose the following responses to demonstrate your worthiness:

  • “I want your help.”
    • “We must stop the blight.” -> “You stood against it.”
    • “We must stop the gods.” -> “They wronged you.”
    • “We are worthy.” -> “Building a safe place.”

i. Success in Convincing Mythal

Mythal will bestow upon you Mythal’s Light, a unique weapon essential for the game’s finale. This weapon’s effects include:

  • 0 Physical Damage
  • 450 Stagger
  • +80 Fire, Necrotic, Electricity, and Cold Damage

Explore the arena to discover a treasure chest containing A Pale Reflection amulet, granting:

  • +5% ultimate charge upon defeating an enemy
  • +20% damage against low-health enemies
  • All standard/non-boss enemies are considered low-health

ii. Failure in Convincing Mythal

If you fail to persuade Mythal with incorrect dialogue choices, she will transform into her powerful dragon form, Mythal’s Retribution. This Level 45 boss fight presents a significant challenge, and defeating Mythal’s Retribution yields a similar reward but at a greater cost.
