So I’m a Spider, So What? episode 21, titled “So, I’m Not in This One, Am I?” has been released this week.

Last, we saw an envoy from the Kingdom of Ohts tried to claim Nameless as their property. This led to Nameless killing them when they tried to attack them, which resulted in the start of the war.

In episode 21, Oka revealed the secret prophecy that was passed down to the elves. The war against the elves has started, and Shun and his party are fighting with the elves.

1. Episode 22 Speculations and Discussions

The title of Episode 22, “Be Forever, Me?” is revealed at the end of episode 22. 

Concerning events that occurred in episode 20, we shall see Shun go toe to toe against Natsume. We can expect to see Shun receive help from his comrades. 

We may even see Shun use a new attack against Natsume, defeating him and preventing him from dying in this battle, as Oka saw. 

Nameless is expected to establish her presence in the war and finally cross paths with the other reincarnations!! Ariel should intervene and take sides in this war that would be unfavorable for Nameless. 

2. Episode 22 Release Date

Episode 22 of the So I’m a Spider, So What? anime, titled “Be Forever, Me?”, has been released on Friday, Jun 11, 2021.

No, the anime So I’m a Spider, So What? is not on break this week. Episode 22 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

3. Recap of Episode 21

Episode 21, titled “So, I’m Not in This One, Am I? ” shows Shun and his party joining and  inspecting the barrier around the village of the elves.

Katia states that the enemy may disrupt the barrier. Since Hugo can use mind control, he can brainwash the elves. However, the mythical beings do not pay any heed to her warnings.

Oka reveals the presence of the Administrators, who bring creatures from different universes and then permit them to level up their incredible abilities and then take the abilities for themselves, which is why she tried to protect them.

In the same way, Oka reveals that the Administrators have been controlling Hugo, yet Sophia, also known as Shouko Negishi, serves the Administrators readily and has the skill to neutralize magic. 

Shun comes to the realization that Sophia and Hugo may not be the only reincarnations serving the Administrators as a few are still unaccounted for as per Oka’s list. 

Another resurrection, Sajin, previously Kusama Shinobu, presently a professional killer for Pope Dustin, annihilates the teleportation circle. At the same time, Sophia utilizes her ability to bring down the barrier and begin the battle. 

Oka utilizes the Class Roster and sees that Hugo will be killed in this fight. Hugo duels Oka, uncovering his newly equipped skill, Greed. This particular skill steals the abilities of those he has executed and adds it to himself. 

Yuri also attacks Oka but is unable to finish the job. Oka then shoots her with a bolt and then proceeds to kill Hugo by making an air vacuum spell to choke him out. However, he is saved by Sophia. 

The episode ends with Hugo almost killing Oka but is interrupted by Shun and Fei, who arrive just in time.
