Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 5 Speculation
Alex has conflicting feelings about Wilford. While he murdered everyone she cared about, he also taught her everything she knows. It’s only when she faces everything that haunts her and acknowledges how important his role in her life is, she’s able to find a solution and is able to get the clamps back up. She later goes to visit him when she finds out that he’d been attacked.
Wilford is in critical condition after the attack and while everybody would relish the prospect of his death, it is undeniable at this point that his extensive knowledge of the train makes him an asset. Will Layton offer Wilford protection against future attacks?
Zahra will soon go into labor and have her baby. Does the gene therapy treatment work? Who tries to attack Layton? Find out in the next episode.

Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 5 titled “A New Life” will be released on 21st February 2022 at 6 pm PT on TNT. No delays have been announced.

Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 4 Recap
Bennett and Alex discover some blockage on the tracks. Upon further inspection, they realize that they’re train cars from Big Alice that Wilford had detached during his reign. They decide to reattach them to the main train as re-routing would cause a twenty-three day delay.
Pike keeps his promise to Ruth and gifts her a banana so the two of them can share a treat together. Asha is on edge especially now that she has to continue lying about being from New Eden. She goes to the night car to let loose but it only surfaces demons from her past and she tells Till about her survivor’s guilt. Layton discovers that Zahra underwent a gene therapy procedure spearheaded by Dr. Headwoods so that their unborn child would develop a cold immunity. Layton is even more furious upon learning that Zahra consented to the procedure being done on their child.
Alex starts to have flashbacks of the past as it is revealed the train cars that were detached are the ones that she grew up in. Wilford singled her out as an ‘original thinker’ and deemed her worthy of saving while the rest were left to freeze to death in the middle of the night. To everyone’s dismay, they have to turn to Wilford for help when they can’t get the clamps to release. However, that ends up being no longer an option when Roche attempts to murder Wilford to avenge his wife’s death.
