Han Na plants a bug at the ANSP camp and is able to get a voice recording of Nam Tae-il admitting to the whole plan. However, she’s put into custody. Snowdrop Episode 10 Speculation

Just as the hostages are about to break free, Dr. Kang shows up with the detonator in her hand and tells them if they move she’ll click on the button and all of them will die. In the next clip, we see a bomb go off in the upstairs dormitory. This will cause the situation to escalate as the hostages’ parents will start showing up at the site. Did any of the hostages get injured during the explosion?

Han-Na is taken into custody and the reporter is in an interrogation. She’s unaware of the developments at the dorm and the voice recording of Nam Tae-il and the party’s plan is still lying in her car. Will she be able to get out of custody and get the evidence out?

Su-ho will most likely ask for more medical supplies after the explosion. He will also have to prove to the Chairman that his daughter is still alive in order to get the supplies. Will the spies be able to return to the North? What will happen to the hostages? Stay tuned to find out.

Snowdrop Episode 9 Recap

One of the spies tells Dr. Kang that the ANSP leader escaped through a secret passage through the prayer room. While Su-ho is hugging Young-ro, she pulls the bomb detonator from his back pocket. He tells her he doesn’t want to hurt anyone at the dorms and the bombs are just a precaution to protect his teammates. ANSP sends supplies for the hostages.

Dr. Kang asks Su-ho to hand over the detonator to her and tells him if he doesn’t get back into a revolutionary spirit she will kill him herself. Gang Moo tells Han Na that this is a joint scheme for the upcoming presidential election. He tells her to get proof about this and the fact that they are planning to kill everyone at the dorm, including the hostages. Despite the ANSP leaders telling him not to, Su-ho releases more hostages.

Back at the ANSP camp, Han Na plants a bug in one of the desks. Gang Moo tells Young-ro that Dr. Kang is also a North Korean spy. Su-ho gets Nam Tae-il to say the entire plan on the phone and Han Na hears everything because of the bug she planted. Later, when the chairman shows up, he tells him they’ll kill Gang Moo because he will be a troublemaker who will figure out their scheme, especially after they shot at him. The chairman tells him he doesn’t agree with Nam Tae-il’s plan to kill the hostages.

Snowdrop is an upcoming JTBC drama written by Yoon Hyun-mi and directed by Jo Hyun-tak, the famous duo behind the popular K-drama SKY Castle. 

The show marks the debut of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, alongside Jung Hae-in, Yoo In-na, Jang Seung-jo, Kim Hye-yoon, Yoon Se-ah and Jung Yoo-jin.

Snowdrop is set in the late 1980s, during the political unrest climate in South Korea. University student Eun Young-ro (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo) finds an injured and bloody Im Soo-ho (Jung Hae-in) after he participates in pro-democratic protests. Young-ro hides him from the government in her all-girls university dorm. As love starts brewing, secrets start spilling as Soo-ho’s identity reveals to be more than just a student. 

The series will premiere on December 18, 2021 at 10:30 PM KST on JTBC and later on Disney+.
