Skip and Loafer Ep 7: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online 

Mitsumi and Shima get into an argument in episode 3 of Skip and Loafer, titled “Drizzling and Flickering.”

It was a sweet and cozy episode with many cute Mitsumi moments. She learned about love for the first time and, by the end of the episode, started feeling it too.

Her exams are coming up, but she gets somewhat mad seeing Shima not worried at all. Shima, too, doesn’t like it, but by the end of the episode, things turn out to be okay, and Mitsumi is found to be in love.

1. Episode 7 Speculations

Mitsumi will try to process her feelings for Shima in episode 7 of Skip and Loafer. 

We might skip the exam session and head straight for July as presidential elections are coming up, and it will bring lots of drama and fun. Mitsumi will be appointed as the student council secretary for the first term. 

She will meet some new characters, mostly her seniors, and form bonds with them. We will be introduced to Kanechika and Takamine Tokiko, and the two have really fun bonding with each other which I can’t wait to see. 

2. Episode 7 Release Date

Episode 7 of the Skip and Loafer anime has been released on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

No, Skip and Loafer is not on break this week. The episode will be released as per schedule. 

3. Episode 6 Recap

Fumi is in love, and Mitsumi is kind of jealous. She wonders what love feels like. She asks Fumi about it and finds it a little complicated. She also wonders whether she will be able to recognize it when she falls in love with someone. 

When she is lost in her thoughts, she remembers that she will be getting the exam syllabus. She is very excited to ace the exams so that she can get her dream college. 

Shima didn’t come to school because he was sick. When Mitsumi texts him, she finds out he isn’t sick and is skipping the class because he feels sleepy.

Listening to all the gossip, she thinks that Shima is a bad boy and gets a bad dream about him at night, where he drops out of school. She gets worried about him. 

He skips school again the next day but comes after lunchtime. She is somewhat mad at him. Later, the two stay after school for some work, and Shima asks her whether she is angry at him. 

She denies it but also gets worried seeing Shima only caring about passing and not caring much about exams. Shima tells her he is not like her, making the situation awkward and causing Mitsumi to leave. 

Later that evening, she overthinks about what happened and can’t focus on her studies at all. She somehow pushes herself to study. On the other hand, Shima, too, is lost in his thoughts. 

He asks his friend about it, who is amazed to see Shima has a soft corner for a relationship with someone. The next morning, Mitsumi is completely messed up as she failed to focus the previous night. 

She meets Shima in school, and they don’t talk much. She is lost in her thoughts and is shocked to see Shima acting normal. Mika comes in to help her. Mitsumi makes up an excuse, but Mika manages to help her clear her thoughts. 

She decides to talk things out with him. He apologizes to her for the day before and is about to leave when she stops him and tells him to come to school often as it is boring without him. 

She starts to leave when he stops her and tells her about his family issues, but he also ensures that he isn’t in as much of a mess as she thinks. He finds it funny that he made up with a friend for the first time. 

Seeing his reaction, Mitsumi gets flustered and gets reminded of what Fumi told her about her love. She rushes home while dialing Fumi’s number and informing her that she, too, feels the same for a classmate. 

4. About Skip and Loafer

Skip and Loafer is a manga by Misaki Takamatsu that was launched in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine in August 2018. An anime adaptation is set to premiere in April 2023.

The manga focuses on Mitsumi who is from a backward area in Japan and moves to Tokyo for attending high school. Sosuke is an ikemen and he meets Mitsumi on her first day at the new school. Mitsumi is focused on her career, unaware of what the big city has in store for her.

Sosuke becomes quite fond of her and they become friends. It is a cute high school-based series with light-hearted comedy.
