In Once Human, the “Sketch of an Inspection Point” quest tasks players with uncovering four Chip Cards to access a restricted chest in Dayton Wetlands.
While it may pose some challenges, this quest can be completed early in the game. If you’re having trouble locating the Chip Cards, you’ve come to the right place!
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to complete this quest.
Once Human: Sketch Of An Inspection Point Quest
This scavenger hunt quest requires exploring the map, solving puzzles, and completing tasks to acquire four Chip Cards that will help you unlock a special crate in Dayton Wetlands.
The locations of the four Chip Cards are indicated on your map during the quest, with markers at the following landmarks:
- East Coast Dayton Wetlands teleportation tower
- Inspection Point 7802
- Inspection Point 3771
- Brookham Guardhouse
These landmarks serve as general locations, guiding you to the specific spots where the Chip Cards can be found. You can track the quest by opening your Journal (press J) and selecting ‘Tasks’ to guide you through the process.
1. Locate The Chip-locked Loot Crate
To start the Sketch of an Inspection Point quest in Once Human, players must interact with a Chip-locked Loot Crate located at the top of a satellite dish (coordinates: 6896, -5025).
This will initiate the quest, and you will be required to find the four Rosetta Chip Cards to unlock the crate.
2. Obtain Rosetta Chip Card I
To obtain the first Rosetta Chip Card, head to the Teleportation Tower (7579, -4767) and enter the nearby building through the back door on the first floor.
Interact with the computer to start a puzzle, where you’ll need to align numbers to reach a total of 21, as shown on the loading bar. Use the three icons on the right to manipulate the layers and quadrants, aiming to align the numbers as 9, 6, and 6.
This will give you the passcode 9274, which you can use to unlock the container in the corner. Collect the Rosetta Chip Card I from here to proceed with the quest.
3. Obtain Rosetta Chip Card II
The second Chip Card is located at Inspection Point 7802 (6570, -5169), about 400m southwest of the quest-starting Chip-locked Loot Crate. To obtain it, enter the small western building, interact with the three Archives on the shelves, and the key card will drop.
4. Obtain Rosetta Chip Card III
The third Chip Card is located at Inspection Point 3771 (6434, -5477), about 400m southwest of the previous Inspection Point.
To obtain it, jump onto the truck using the hood, then mantle onto the roof. Here, use the Spacetime ability (Q key) to reveal a Hidden Crate and interact with it to get Rosetta Chip Card III.
5. Obtain Rosetta Chip Card IV
To obtain the fourth Chip Card, head to Brookham Guardhouse (6178, -4516), following the road from Inspection Point 3771 through Thoroughville and turning left at Brookham.
Be prepared to face Deviants, including potential boss spawns, and prioritize taking out the jellyfish Deviants near the broken building for a safer approach.
Use the wooden stairs to access the rooftop north of the radio tower and retrieve the teddy bear from behind the satellite dish. Placing it in the circle of Teddy Bears under the red tower will summon Miss Teddy Bear, who will give you Rosetta Chip Card IV upon interaction.
6. Unlock The Chip-locked Loot Crate
Now that you have all four Rosetta Chip Cards, return to the Chip-locked Loot Crate, interact with it, and insert the cards. This will unlock the chest, allowing you to claim your rewards and complete the “A Sketch of an Inspection Point” quest.
For completing this quest, you’ll be rewarded with:
- An Energy Link boost of 100
- A significant XP gain of 430
- A Battle Pass XP increase of 105
- Three valuable Stellar Planulas
- A Cortex upgrade to Level 1, unlocking new capabilities
