Silent Hill 2 remake is finally set to hit stores after years of wait. Although it is a thing of the past, fans of the iconic franchise are ever so excited to try out the upcoming title as if it’s a new release. Confused whether you will be able to enjoy it or not? Keep reading to know which platforms the Silent Hill 2 remake will be available on.
Where can you play Silent Hill 2 Remake?
As of now, Silent Hill 2 remake will be launched for PC and PlayStation 5. That’s right, the game will not be available on Xbox, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
Developer Bloober Team has worked very hard to capture the eerie and bone-chilling feeling of the original game. The foggy town, shady buildings, and creepy characters, are all traits of a Silent Hill title.
Simply put, older devices do not have the graphical capacity to support the game. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are over a decade old. Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch is only a mobile chipset. Only current-gen platforms and latest PCs have the vigour so that the Silent Hill 2 remake truly shines.
This is unfortunate news since a vast majority of fans will be missing out on this game. However, it doesn’t look like the developers will be releasing the game for the remaining platforms. So if you’re waiting for a release down the line, it is pointless.
