1. Abstract Daddy Boss Fight Silent Hill 2 Remake
Angela’s troubled history is evident from the start. This darkness takes shape as Abstract Daddy, a monstrous representation of her abuse. The fight unfolds in the Labyrinth, where you’ll first find Angela.
As you navigate the corridors, scour every nook for vital resources. Upon entering the small room where Angela awaits, a cutscene will trigger and the the boss fight will start right after.
In Silent Hill 2 Remake, the Abstract Daddy boss fight can be divided into three phases. First, evade and escape from Abstract Daddy, shooting at his fleshy part occasionally until he disappears. Next, locate and destroy there TVs while evading and hiding from the enemy. Finally, confront him directly, using similar tactics as phase one.
2. Abstract Daddy Boss Fight Walkthrough
Enter the labyrinth area and proceed down the corridor, where Angela’s cries for her father set the tone for a chilling encounter. Upon entering the room, James finds Angela on the floor, sparking a haunting conversation.
Suddenly, a creature bursts in, attacking James and pinning him against the wall. After a intense struggle, the wall collapses, revealing the monstrous Abstract Daddy.
1. Phase One
To survive the first phase of the Abstract Daddy boss fight, follow these steps:
- Flee through hallways until reaching a large living space beside a locked door. Attack Abstract Daddy with handgun bullets from a safe distance.
- Dodge lunging grabs and charges. Counterattack with shotgun blasts after dodging. Target the fleshy, human-like part (avoid the frame).
- Continue evading and blasting its vulnerable area until Abstract Daddy shrieks, disorients James, and retreats, marking the end of phase one.
2. Phase Two
In this stage, prioritize evasion and conserving your ammo for the upcoming final battle.
- Make your way through the Labyrinth, collecting resources as you go. Follow Angela to a hidden closet, then head right to stock up on Shotgun and Handgun ammo.
- Next, locate the TV in the room and destroy it, then escape Abstract Daddy’s attack by squeezing through the wall gap.
- Take shelter in Angela’s hiding spot, then head down the right corridor. Be prepared to retreat back to the hiding spot as Abstract Daddy will burst through, forcing you to take cover once again.
- Follow Abstract Daddy’s destructive path, squeeze through the wall gap, and take the right door. Jump left, destroy the TV in the fan room, then navigate to the next right gap.
- Proceed through it to find and demolish the third TV. With the third TV destroyed, a passageway opens, mirroring the original Abstract Daddy scene.
- Grab Rifle Rounds and a Health Drink from the pipes, then jump over the pipe at the large fan to enter the final confrontation room.
3. Phase Three
As seems to be his signature thing, Abstract Daddy bursts into the room (again), marking the beginning of the intense final battle.
- Confront him head-on this time, utilizing the same tactics as Phase One.
- Defeat Abstract Daddy by letting him attack, dodging to the side, and then striking at his vulnerable, human-like flesh. The Rifle is your best bet.
- Ignore his terrifying roar and keep firing until he falls, allowing Angela to join in and settle her own score.
- Once the boss fight is over, a dramatic cutscene reveals Angela’s traumatic past and abuse, explaining her erratic behavior around James.
Abstract Daddy is a disturbing creature looking like two fleshy bodies entwined intimately, symbolizing the traumatic abuse Angela endured at the hands of her father and brother.
With the abhorrent Abstract Daddy now defeated, James is free to explore the Labyrinth further to unravel the truth of his past in Silent Hill.
3. About Silent Hill 2 Remake
Silent Hill 2 Remake is an upcoming survival horror video game developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 5 and Windows on 8th October, 2024.
It is a remake of the 2001 video game of the same name and will be the first major installment in the Silent Hill franchise since Silent Hill: Downpour in 2012.
