Ted Lasso’s writers deliver yet another comedy-drama on the screens of Apple TV+! This series stars comic legend Jason Segel as a therapist who uses wild tactics to get through to his patients while sorting his messy life out after his wife passes away.
The dual-episode premiere sets the tone for the series as a hilarious, yet enlightening show filled with entertaining scenes. 1. Episode 3 Synopsis/Speculation
Jimmy witnesses Gaby in a compromising situation. Paul advises Alice on how to deal with her grief while facing a loss of his own.
Alice and Jimmy almost had it made in episode 2, but after her father ditched her, we’ll surely see Alice confront Jimmy head-on in next episode, just like Paul advised her.
Paul teased about his issues with his own daughter while pleading with Jimmy to set things right with Alice. In the next episode, we might learn more about what went down between him and his daughter and how they’ve reached this point.
The next episode’s synopsis points out, yet another domino Jimmy sent toppling in the first episode. Not only did he advise Grace to leave her husband, leading to the brawl between him and Sean, which led to the mess between him and Brian and Alice, he also asked Gaby to leave her emotionally abusive husband.
Just like Jimmy’s tactic on Sean went awry, Gaby’s might prove the same, meaning yet another distraction between Jimmy and his daughter.
The next episode will entangle Jimmy’s already messed up life even tighter, but when is the next episode supposed to air?

5. Episode 1 Recap
The first episode opens to introduce Jimmy, a therapist far more broken than his patients after his wife passed away last year. The grieving therapist snaps at one of his patients and devises a new way to get through to them, albeit it is ethically ambiguous. And even though Grace and Paul advise him not to follow such methods, he seems to get results from them.
He even tries to mend his relationship with his teen daughter Alice, who’s been avoiding him ever since he left her alone to grieve her mother’s death. And all seems to be going right until Grace’s husband attacks him at Alice’s game which ends with Sean facing charges and Jimmy having a much bigger mess in his hands.
6. Episode 2 Recap
Jimmy discusses his issues with Alice with Paul, who asks him to be patient. Jimmy bails Sean out and calls on his best friend Brian, who he ghosted after Tia’s death, for help in Sean’s case. After an awkward yes, Brian works his magic and sets Sean straight without any charges, and Jimmy goes out to celebrate with them.
Paul and Alice talk about Jimmy and how he blew Alice off for Brian, and Paul finds out about Sean’s altercation and isn’t pleased. He advises Alice to fake it till you make it and face her problems with her father head-on while also hoping Jimmy is more truthful.
Brian and Jimmy eventually make up while the widower messes up his relationship with Liz, and Sean moves in with Jimmy and Alice.
