Who Should You Give the Strand to in Star Wars Outlaws? Is it Krisk or the Queen?

Just like any game, Star Wars Outlaws has an array of different quests to offer. Most of them are quite intense where you have to make decisions wisely. These decisions can affect your gameplay and relation with the criminal syndicates. 

In such a quest, “The Hive,” players have to choose whether to support the Ashiga Queen or her daughter Krisk, who is allied with Crimson Dawn. Kay must give the Ashiga Origin Strand to any of the two, and choosing between any might change certain outcomes.

1. Should you give the strand to Krisk or the Queen?

Players should give the Strand to Krisk, as taking her side has the best outcomes. Choosing Krisk over Ashiga Queen doesn’t alter the game’s story but increases the reputation of the Crimson Dawn. 

Ashiga Origin Strand, the sequenced DNA of the Ashiga Clan, gives power to anyone who wields it. If you give it to the queen, your reputation with the Crimson Dawn will decrease significantly, while your reputation with the Ashiga Clan will increase significantly. 

On the other hand, if you give the Strand to the Queen’s daughter, Krisk, the reputation with the Crimson Dawn will increase significantly. However, it won’t cause any decrease in reputation with the Ashiga Clan. 

2. Outcome of all the Choices

2.1 Give the Strand to the Queen

The Queen doesn’t want to give up her power and is pretty wary of the Crimson Dawn and its influence on Krisk. The clan needs to be strong, and the leader needs the power of the Strand. 

If you give the Origin Strand to the Queen, she will order her guards to kill Krisk on the spot. The Queen will retain her position throughout the rest of the game; as mentioned, this has no impact on gameplay or story.

However, siding with the Queen will greatly decrease your reputation with Crimson Dawn while increasing your reputation with the Ashiga Clan. As a reward, you will obtain the Power Blast kit. 

2.2 Give the Strand to Krisk

Krisk, the daughter of the Queen of the Ashiga Clan, believes she could lead better than her mother. Prompted by Crimson Dawn, who wants a more favorable leader, Krisk plans to overthrow her mother and take the crown. 

By giving Krisk the Origin Strand, she will become the clan’s new leader, leading to the former queen’s demise and Krisk gaining control. As a reward for supporting Krisk, you will gain a new crew member, Ank Parako, and a Power Blast Kit.

Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft under license by Lucasfilm Games. The game will be set in the Star Wars universe, during the period between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

It is a single-player, third person action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. Set in an open world, the game will feature stealth and open combat, vehicle combat, space combat, and branching dialogue.
