It was a great last episode with plenty of action and hooks for season 2. The story continues to unfold, and we learn more about the world. The hooks provided make me think that our protagonist will eventually address all four major human errors, especially with that etheric world.
Furthermore, it is awesome that they didn’t finish the Pandemonium here. I mean, they are not a being that can be eliminated in just six episodes.
Even with that bad-looking CGI, this episode’s action is a bit lacking compared to the previous one. Like Pandemonium, I also thought the fight was boring because both Menou and Ashuna used the same skill repeatedly. Even so, you can understand since they don’t have much etheric left.

Episode 13 Speculations
We need a season 2 of this show as soon as possible, and I really enjoyed it. Menou showing an empathic attitude towards Momo really impressed me.
In many shows, an overly attached partner is just a stereotype, an annoyance, but Momo was clearly something that could only help Menou.
Menou and Akira discussed what challenges they will face in the future and how they should prepare for them.
There are many more adventures in store for us in the upcoming season, and I cannot wait to watch them all.

Episode 12 Recap
It was a good final episode. There was a fun final battle with Pandaemonium, which looks way better when it’s not in CG, and we got a few interesting twists and setups for what’s coming next (at least in the novels, since season 2 hasn’t been announced yet).
In Pandaemonium, Manon has resurrected and is actually a sister. On the Salt Continent, there is a sword that can kill everyone with a pure concept, including Akari. Also, Flare isn’t just alive; she will also kill Menou for the second time. It’s quite intriguing.
Overall, the show has been quite entertaining. The episode concludes with Menou and Akari carrying on their journey.
Compared to other stuff I’ve seen this season, I think this one gets overlooked even compared to some other stuff. There was more action and brutality than I expected from the JC Staff show.
The characters are both delightfully evil, like Pandaemonium, or are just generally fun with great chemistry, like the main two, Momo and Ashuna (especially when they two were together on screen, I enjoyed them the most).
Yes, there’s some weak CG here and there, and some corners clearly were cut (like one episode in the latter half that used the same animations and shots more than once from this episode), but personally, I was entertained by its story.
About The Executioner and Her Way of Life
The Executioner and Her Way of Life by Maho Sato and Nilitsu is a light novel series that will receive an anime adaptation in 2022.
The plot focuses on Menou, an executioner who is in charge of killing all those who get isekai’d into her world. These people are called ‘strays’ of ‘lost ones’ and are often responsible for huge calamities.
Thus, when Akari arrived, Menou was tasked with killing her. The only problem is that Akari’s ability makes her almost impossible to kill. As both of them spend time together, a new relationship blossoms between them.
