The 6-minute opening video features our protagonist, Taisei Onari, a high-school student with a strong inclination toward justice and kindness.
His motivation stems from his childhood when his sister instilled in him the importance of becoming a kind and calm person who can protect whatever is dear to him.
The video then transitions to a battle scene, showing Taisei piloting a Shinkalion alongside Akane and Ryota.
The footage also highlights the character of our protagonist; despite having a strong desire to be calm, he is shy and quickly gets embarrassed, which is unlike the other protagonists we have seen in the Shinkalion series.

Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion is a Japanese toy franchise created by Takara Tomy, in association with the Japan Railways Group. A third anime by Signal.MD and Production I.G titled Shinkalion: Change the World is set to premiere in April 2024.
An unidentified enemy, the Unknown, suddenly appeared on earth to disrupt the peace. The “Super Evolutionary Railway Development Agency,” develops the “Shinkalion,” a robot that transforms into a bullet train, as a countermeasure against this threat.
