Shinka no Mi is an upcoming anime that does not even pretend to have a serious plot. From its latest trailer, you will understand that the anime is all about its comic environment.
I mean, a guy gets isekai-ed then dates a gorilla who later evolves to become a girl. Does any part of this seem thoughtful?
As a bona fide comedy lover, I like this shamelessness and look forward to experiencing this soon.
Shinka no Ami or The Evolution Fruit anime will premiere on October 4, 2021. Its second promotional video highlights the extreme frivolity that this anime embodies.
The trailer reveals some nutcase characters, and believe me, not a single one of them seems normal.
Seiichi Hiragi, the protagonist of the series, is baffled by everything that is going on around him. Soon after dealing with the shock of being in another world, he realizes that a gorilla has caught affection for him.
Tetsu Inada will be voicing Saria in her gorilla form. He is well-known for voicing Endeavor from My Hero Academia. He has also commented that this is his first time voicing a female (even though it’s a female gorilla).
The main cast and staff members have already been announced, and studio feel. and Children’s Playground Entertainment are animating the series.
With a plot that focuses on a mysterious evolutionary fruit, we are yet to know what exactly this fruit does. If this fruit can lift Seiichi from his social outcast status, then it will be in high demand not only in anime but also in the real world.
