Shikizakura Anime Reveals Ending Theme Artist: Premieres 2nd Half Of 2021

For those of you who are sitting on your couch on a gloomy winter evening, and craving a warm spring morning, imagine a place where cherry blossoms are in full bloom throughout the year!

 As dreamy as it may seem, a place like this exists in the fantasy world of the upcoming anime Shikizakura.

The word ‘shikizakura’ literally means sakura (cherry blossoms) that blooms twice. It’s the shrine where the transient world meets the spirit world, a place which has held many secrets for centuries.

On Wednesday, the official Twitter account for Shikizakura anime announced that the anime will premiere in the second half of 2021. The announcement also states that May’n will perform the anime’s ending theme song.

Along with Asaka, another artist from Nagoya will be in charge of the theme songs. Ending song by May’n decided! Announced on the broadcast “ROOMIC” earlier. The broadcast will be in the second half of 2021

About Shikizakura

Shikizakura follows high school student Kakeru Miwa, who ends up being an irregular member of a power suit team tasked with battling Oni.

These Oni possess humans and try to sneak into the transient world. Only the power suit, Yoroi, which combines ancient secrets with the latest technology, can protect people from Oni.

Due to this sudden turn of events, Kakeru decides to become a hero who will battle Oni and protect Ouka Myoujin, the shrine maiden fated with saving the world.
