Shikamaru’s Story: Mourning Clouds: Release in 2021 by VIZ

The Naruto franchise has been a long-standing series and has provided fans with plenty of commendable characters.

Shikamaru is a character that has drawn much attention and is featured quite a lot in the main story.

Shikamaru Hiden: A Cloud Drifting in Silent Darkness, is the first light novel which was devoted to Shikamaru. It is written by Takashi Yano and illustrated by Kishimoto.

Shikamaru’s Story: Mourning Clouds will be released in North America in print and digital by early 2021. A tweet by VIZ media on July 4 announced the news of the manga’s distribution.

The novel has a brand new cover, and fans are looking forward to any new developments in the story.

Shikamaru’s Story: Mourning Clouds focuses on further developing the character and achievements of Shikamaru. It is also the second book of the Naruto Hiden series.

The plot of the light novel takes place when the Fifth Great Ninja War is imminent due to a rupture in the alliance of the Five Kages.

On the other hand, Shikamaru is growing distant from his family. However, he still has one final card up his sleeve to save the Hidden Leaf village as well as bond with his family again.

The other Naruto Hiden novels focus on characters such as Kakashi, Sakura, Konoha, Gaara, and Akatsuki.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations focuses on the next generation ninjas and their battles, however, it is always nice to read about a character who was involved with the original story and the roots of the Hidden Leaf village.

VIZ Media has also provided a link to pre-order the book through its official Twitter account.

Fans are excited at the news of the light novel being released in North America and are getting impatient for the release as 2021 is still a long way to go.
