Hulk’s Son Skaar Rumored To Appear In She-Hulk

Hulk’s son, Skaar, is rumored to be making his MCU debut in upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk. The series will follow Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk, as she balances her newly acquired gamma powers with life as a lawyer.

According to The Direct, Skaar will appear in Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk series. The character’s rumored role in the show is unconfirmed by Disney and Marvel.

In the comics, Skaar is Bruce Banner’s son, conceived during the Hulk’s stay on Sakaar. He possessed very similar powers to his father, though also inherited abilities from his mother Caiera the Oldstrong, a Sakaaran.

If MCU were to introduce Skaar, his birth could be tracked back to sometime between Age of Ultron and Thor: Ragnarok. Hulk was on Sakaar for two years before leaving with Thor at the end of Thor: Ragnarok.

According to the comics, Skaar ages much quicker than a typical human and considering the time gap between Infinity War and Endgame, it wouldn’t be surprising if he looked older than his years in She-Hulk.

Skaar first appears in the Planet Hulk comic. After being exiled by his mother, Skaar heads to Earth with a desire to kill his father. Eventually, Banner and Skaar develop a close father-son relationship.

Introducing Skaar to the MCU would open up a vast array of possibilities for the storyline. If rumors are to be believed, Skaar might as well end up being a part of the Young Avengers.

During an interview with IGN in January, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that She-Hulk would be ten half-hour episodes.

“It’s about six hours of content. Sometimes that’ll be six episodes, sometimes that’ll be nine episodes, in the case of WandaVision. Sometimes that’ll be 10 episodes. You basically have 10 half-hour episodes, which is what She-Hulk … will be.”

Kat Coiro and Anu Valia will be directing She-Hulk. Filming for the series is currently underway in Atlanta, Georgia. The series could potentially expand Hulk’s family tree in the MCU.
