Showtime is offering fans a chance to bid the characters from Shameless a fond farewell. The cable network has announced a retrospective series of the family drama called Shameless Hall of Shame. The six-episode new series will air in between episodes of the final season of Shameless in December.
Hall of Shame will feature interviews of the cast members and additional footage of the show. The new Shameless scenes will be juxtaposing and looking back at the journey of the characters. The first episode will follow Ian (Cameron Monaghan) and Mickey’s (Noel Fisher) relationship from a temporary teenage fling to a loving marriage.
The eleventh season of Shameless premiered in December and the Gallagher family is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic too. Besides the pandemic, Frank’s mortality is one of the main concerns of the final season. Lip is struggling with stepping into the patriarchal role in the family, Ian and Mickey are navigating life as a married couple and Deb is embracing her individuality and single motherhood. Carl begins his career in law enforcement while Kevin and V fight for a life in the South Side.
Shameless stars William. H. Macy, Jeremy Allen White, Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney, Cameron Monaghan, Christian Isaiah, Noel Fisher and Kate Miner.
Hall of Shame will premiere on December 27th, 2020, at 9 pm, on Showtime.
The first ten seasons are available to stream on Netflix.

About Shameless
Shameless follows a dysfunctional South Side family called the Gallaghers. The patriarch, Frank, is a single father who tries and fails to raise his six children. The siblings look out for one another and often have to take care of their alcohol-abusing father.
Shameless is based on the British show of the same name, created by Paul Abbott. It is one of the only American remakes of a British show that has become a success in itself. The American version premiered on Showtime on January 9th, 2011 and became the longest-running original scripted show of the network.
