The probable reason should be the upcoming Shaman Fight that will be held in Tokyo. Shamans all around the world will be sparring each other in a tournament format.
Yoh needs to improve his rank to become the Shaman King someday; this tournament may give him the perfect platform to do so.

1. Episode 4 Speculation
Episode 4 will take us to the Shaman Fight, where Shamans all over the world will be facing each other to improve their rank. This explains what so many Shamans are doing in Tokyo.
Yoh haven’t participated in any such tournament before, so it will be a new experience for him. However, he still needs a lot of hard work to achieve 100% efficiency with Amidamaru, and Anna will make sure that he doesn’t get a single minute to break.
Yoh, Anna, Ren, Jun, all the four Shamans we saw so far will be participating in the Shaman Fight. We will also get to meet other more experienced and more powerful Shamans in this tournament.

Episode 4 of the Shaman King anime has been released on Thursday, Apr 22, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.
Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

3. Episode 3 Recap
While coming back from school, Manta confronts a new Shaman, Ren Tao, who asks him to warn Yoh that he will take Amidamaru away from him. He even shows Manta a glimpse of his own spirit, Bason, a fierce Chinese warrior.
It seems Ren wasn’t bluffing at all; Ren surely has the potential to challenge Yoh and Amidamaru. He effortlessly slices a car into two halves while having a fight with a bunch of hooligans.
Yoh comes in his way as he was going to harm them. He believes that Shamans have no right to harm any human with their powers. This sudden intrusion gives Ren the perfect opportunity to snatch Amidamaru from Yoh.
Ren challenges Yoh for a fight and claims that he will take Amidamaru away if he wins. He believes that spirits are nothing but tools to be used by Shamans, and on the other hand, Yoh believes that spirits are his friends.
This huge difference in ideology intensifies their fight. Although Amidamaru is stronger than Bason, Ren is a more experienced Shaman and can use the full potential of his spirit.
Just when everyone that Ren won the fight, Amidamaru and Yoh sync together for one final move that defeats the veteran Shaman. Both of them fall unconscious, and the fight ends.
Yoh wakes up in the hospital bed to see Anna has arrived to help him to become the Shaman King. She claims to be the next first lady and desires to marry Yoh in the future.
She tells Yoh about the upcoming Shaman Fight that is about to held in Tokyo. Shamans all over the world are gathering in Tokyo and will face each other in the tournament to improve their Shaman ranks.
Anna is a tough person to deal with because of her bossy attitude. She trains Yoh day and night and even joins his school to keep him under close observation.
4. About Shaman King
Shaman King is a manga written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump from June 30, 1998.
The series received an abrupt end on August 30, 2004, leaving fans disappointed.
The manga received a reprint in 2009 to give its fans the true ending to the series. It also received an adaptation by studio Xebec in 2001 that was directed by Seiji Mizushima.
It introduces us to a world of shamans. These Shamans are powerful beings who can see and communicate with spirits, ghosts, and gods.
Once in 500 years, a prestigious tournament called The Shaman Fight is organized, and the winner gets to shape the world in his image with the aid of the great spirits.
