In fact, he bluntly states that he wants Yoh to become stronger so that he can serve Hao once he becomes the Shaman King. He even goes as far as laying a hand on Anna, but ended up getting slapped pretty hard.

Meanwhile, inside the Patch village, Yoh and his friends come across the Great spirit, and the 5 billion years old history of the Earth flashed before them within seconds.

For most of them, the sight was too much to handle, and they fell unconscious right away. Yoh wakes up in a room with Silva by his side, who congratulates him for successfully passing the first stage of the Shaman Fight.

Everyone except Lyserg has successfully passed the first stage, and Ren didn’t even fall unconscious. Rather, he was staring at the great spirit as if it belonged to him.

A new character, Chocolove, showed up before them and revealed that from the next stage onwards, everyone will fight as a team of three. Ren was so excited to face Yoh as soon as possible, that he made a separate team with Horohorto and Chocolove.

Can Anna’s Cho-Senjiryakketsu give Yoh a massive power up? Will it be enough for Yoh to narrow down the power gap between him and his opponents? We have to wait for the next episodes to find that out.
