To test Ryuu’s resolve, Yomei asks him to climb the peak of Mt. Sentsuzan. It’s undoubtedly one of the scariest places in the world, from where the infamous mythological beings like Susanoo and Orochi appeared and is still haunted by many evil spirits.

After days of hard work, Ryuu and Tokegerou manage to reach the mountain’s peak, where Yohmei was waiting for them. Impressed by his resolve, Yomei teaches him a new technique.

Coming to the ongoing fight, Ryuu defeats Boris with that same technique. But before Yoh could interrogate him, the X-Laws under Michael show up and kills Boris right before everyone.

They claim to be on Yoh’s side since their ultimate goal is to defeat Hao. However, Yoh isn’t okay with their way of killing their opponents mercilessly.

So, when the X-Laws were about to kill another one of Hao’s minions, Yoh revolts against them and goes as far as drawing out his Harusame against Michael’s archangel.

Thankfully, Yoh manages to come out of it unscratched, but his Harusame is completely shattered. The small fight reminded Yoh how much he still has to grow. Can he find a massive powerup before things go out of hand? We have to wait for the next episode to find that out.
