Shaman King (2021) Episode 14: Release Date, Speculation And Watch Online

Episode 13 introduced us to the series’ main antagonist, Hao, and his unrivaled oversoul. He already claims himself to be the “Future King” and aims to establish a Shaman-only Kingdom on earth, thereby irradicating humanity completely.  

It’s pretty much clear by now that he is no ordinary Shaman and can even take on Yoh’s team all by himself. So, Yoh will need a few more allies to fight by his side before declaring awar againsdt him.

1. Episode 14 Speculation       

Episode 14 of Shaman King (2021 is titled “Lyserg the Avenger.” It will introduce us to another important character of the series, “Lyserg.” From his last name and appearance, it’s safe to assume that he is of European origin, most probably British.

As the title suggests, he has participated in this fight to avenge something, probably someone’s death. The fact that he has the guts to go against Hao is enough to confirm his overwhelming power, but how well will he get along with Yoh?

2. Episode 14 Release Date   

Episode 14 of the Shaman King (2021) anime, titled “Lyserg the Avenger”, has been released on Thursday, Jul 01, 2021.

Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

3. Episode 13 Recap        

In Episode 13, Yoh and all other participants of the Shaman Fight bid farewell to their friends and family one las time. It turns out that Tokyo is just the gathering spot, and the actual tournament will take place in the Patch village of America.

While they were still confused about what’s happening, Hao, the antagonist of the series, appears before them and shows off his gigantic oversoul. He pins down Horohoro with a single hit and openly challenges Yoh in the tournament.

Before leaving, Hao tells Yoh to become stronger and reveals that he is an important asset to his master plan. Yoh doesn’t really understand what he meant, but Hao’s uncanny similarity with him and the Patch tribe makes him thoughtful.

Coming back to the tournament, the officiants guide all the participants to an airplane that drops them in mid-air, where the fight is about to occur. Yoh and his friends had to focus their oversoul on a single point to cushion the falling impact.

Right after this uneasy landing, they come across a woman named Lilirara who tries to stop them from joining the Shaman Fight. She reveals about Patch’s conspiracy of selecting the best Shamans to establish a Shaman-only world.

She shows them the memories of Seminoa warriors who tried to defy the Patch Tribe 500 years ago. Patch killed everyone who defied him one after another, claiming that he will be reincarnated in the future.

It doesn’t take Yoh long to realize that Hao is the reincarnation of Patch himself, and he has come back to turns the infamous Patch dream of the Shaman kingdom into reality.

In the final minutes of the episode, Hao kills Lilirara before she could create any more problems for him. Can Yoh and his friends stop Hao before it’s too late?

Shaman King is a manga written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump from June 30, 1998.

The series received an abrupt end on August 30, 2004, leaving fans disappointed.

The manga received a reprint in 2009 to give its fans the true ending to the series. It also received an adaptation by studio Xebec in 2001 that was directed by Seiji Mizushima.

It introduces us to a world of shamans. These Shamans are powerful beings who can see and communicate with spirits, ghosts, and gods.

Once in 500 years, a prestigious tournament called The Shaman Fight is organized, and the winner gets to shape the world in his image with the aid of the great spirits. The story revolves around Manta Oyamada, who has a chance encounter with You Asakura that completely changes his life. Asakura aims to become the Shaman King, aided by Manta and his 600-year-old samurai friend Amidamaru. They set out to fulfill You’s dream.
