1. Episode 13 Speculation
Shaman King (2021) Episode 13 is titled “And Hao.” It hints us towards the main antagonist of the series, who goes by the name Hao.
If you have seen the original Shaman King anime, you must know exactly how he is related to Yoh.

I. The Five Cursed Squad
Episode 13 of the Shaman King (2021) anime, titled “And Hao.”, will be released on Wednesday, Apr 03, 2024.
In Episode 12, Yoh and Ren rush towards the ground floor, where Horohoro and Ryu are having a hard time fighting the Five Curse Squad. The four weaklings of the squad turn out to be a trick to keep the opponent off guard till the strongest finishes the fight with a killing blow.
Judging from its uncanny resemblance with the Dao Dan Do fighting style, Manta inters that the cursed body is of Shamon. Yes, the same old man who fought Pyron in Episode 3.
It seems that Tao En has completely altered Shamon’s body and soul, thereby turning him into a mindless puppet. Thankfully, Jun and her Pyron steps into the fight and keeps him engaged while the others advance towards En’s chamber.
II. Tao En vs. Tao Ren, Round 2
But before they could reach the top floor, Tao En himself shows up and brings the fight to them. He starts by crushing Yoh and his friends one by one with his gigantic hand.
Surprisingly, both physical and shamanic attacks do not affect Tao En. He is an invisible enemy with godly attributes like immortality, supersonic speed, illusions, and many more.
Just when things were about to get worse, Ren infers that this huge monster isn’t Tao En’s real body, and instead, it’s an oversoul made from combining multiple spirits.
III. The Successor of Tao Throne
En’s conviction wavers before his son’s resolve for a moment, and that’s where Ren turns the tables. He unleashes his extended oversoul and defeats his father with a final punch.
Without the oversoul, Tao En looks like any other ordinary man. He had enough Furyoku to maintain his monster form for years till his own son destroyed it and freed all the spirits in it.
Ren proves once again why he is the deserving successor of the Tao family’s throne. Impressed by his newfound powers, his father passes on the family’s heirloom weapon, the Jewel Thunder Sword, and wishes him good luck for the Shaman Fight.

Shaman King is a manga written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump from June 30, 1998.
The series received an abrupt end on August 30, 2004, leaving fans disappointed.
The manga received a reprint in 2009 to give its fans the true ending to the series. It also received an adaptation by studio Xebec in 2001 that was directed by Seiji Mizushima.
