As Hao reaches Mansumi’s ship, Reiheit launches an attack on Hao with his special Over Soul.

Sadly, the Over Soul gets taken out and causes Reiheit to pass out. With the fleets destroyed, Hao realizes he overdid his part and tells Yoh can handle the rest.

Yoh feels Hao’s power is sad given the circumstances of how he attained it after watching his moves.

Afterward, the remaining teams are taken to Mu in the Patch submarine. The Patch Tribe state out the process of the fight till the final battle when they reach Mu.

However, Yoh states his team, Team Ren and X-I, are dropping out since facing the Shaman Fight is suicide. He reveals they plan to take out Hao in their own way.

The Patch understands that Yoh plans to defeat them for a better victory to take on Hao.

Hao is declared the Shaman King since everyone agrees to face the Patch as planned. The Patch prepares the ceremony of combining the Great Spirit with Hao in the king’s shrine. As Yoh and the group enter the shrine, Luchist blocks the path.

Marco decides and takes on Luchist in the name of justice. Luchist is flattered by Marco’s concept of justice when he knows only evil’s true shape exists due to the cruelty of society.

Marco’s Over Soul gets quickly eliminated by Luchist each time he uses it.

To Luchist’s surprise, Marco uses a decoy to get closer to him. Marco sacrifices himself while taking out Luchist and says true love is the path of justice. With the unfortunate loss, the team moves ahead into the shrine.

Silva then appears, warning Yoh and the group to turn back or die since they’re in the scared passage. He quickly attacks Yoh, which causes Horohoro, Lyserg, and Joco to intervene. Silva easily takes out the three with his Over Soul.

Ren warns Ryu not to fight since Silva is strong and they don’t have enough Furyoku to revive everyone. Yoh appreciates Ren’s advice to Ryu as he gets up and prepares to face Silva with his Over Soul: Byakko.
