Given the circumstances, Anna asks Yoh what he feels in his heart about the situation. Later Yoh goes for an evening walk with Amidamaru. Amidamaru points out due to Yoh taking a lot of responsibility himself, he’s closing his heart on making the right choice.
He tells Yoh to choose what is important with his heart. Yoh realizes he would fight if he was himself but then says he left his Oracle Bell at the riverside. Out of nowhere, Anna brings the Oracle Bell and lets Yoh take it.
Anna isn’t happy Yoh didn’t tell her before leaving the Shaman Fight but is happy he saved Ren for it. Yoh then states he’ll put his sight to become the Shaman King and join the match. Afterward, Yoh goes to confront X-Laws about the decision he’s made.

As Macro prepares to attack Yoh, Luchist appears and finds Marco’s hardheadedness to be the same as before. Luchist says he’s here to assist Yoh and clean up the rest. The X-Law members attack Luchist but get beaten by his Over Soul – Lucifer.
Marco tells the X-laws that no one can stop the founder of X-Laws but him alone. Marco states Luchist is a traitor and gets into an intense fight with him. As Marco almost gets killed, Yoh stops Luchist and tells him not to interfere in his plans.
Marco then tells Yoh he doesn’t need any assistance for this is his fight with Luchist. Marco and Luchist get into a battle outfit and prepare to finish what they started. Yoh and Lyserg prepare to stop the two from killing each other, watching how the events are going.
