Yoh, knowing it was his fault, went after the demon to save her. Matamune is stunned by Yoh’s compassion. An older man gives Yoh a ride to where Anna is taken after he heard what he said.

Seeing Anna blush and flustered, knowing Yoh likes her and wants to help, made the episode cute. Matamune is risking it all to help Yoh, showing how much he believes Yoh can save Anna.
The Osorezan arc is developing quite well, and fans are enjoying the events portrayed. How will Yoh and Matamune help Anna take control of this situation?
Matamune might do something unexpected to help Yoh so that what happened to his master will not happen to Anna.
Anna is unable to control her powers due to her closed heart. I hope meeting Yoh makes her a more compassionate person. I realized this is the last we’ll see of Matamune with the arc reaching the end.

Episode 32 Recap
This episode starts with Matamune wondering how Anna’s life is similar to Hao’s. Muno then shows him the sight of Yoh and Anna sitting together watching TV. Matamune is surprised by this, but Mino takes him away, so they don’t disturb the children.
Watching a show, Anna mentions how her idol might look scary but hides the vulnerability with her appearance. Yoh then notes how she’s the same compared to her idol. He says he understands Anna’s complicated life and would like to help her out.
Knowing this, Anna tells Yoh to avoid her, but he doesn’t want to due to a reason. Anna being able to read minds, finds out that Yoh likes her. She then leaves the room, but Yoh tells her they should visit the temple.
He tells her about making a wish for the better as the new year starts. He then mentions if the wish to control her powers won’t happen, he’ll become the shaman king and fix it. Muno and Matamune are astonished that Anna is going with Yoh outside.
Muno states that this is bad as Anna’s powers will react to the selfish wishes of others and create a giant demon. Matamune then tells her he’ll keep a watch on them. Muno tells him it’s absurd, for Matamune can’t defeat a demon created in such situations.
He states he’s made up his mind and heart to help Yoh as he believes this will help Anna as well. As they make their way to the temple, Anna tells Yoh the demons are here. Matamune then protects them and tells Yoh to take care of Anna.
Anna then surges with power, and that causes a demon to absorb other souls making it one giant monster. Matamune is stunned by her furyoku bringing a great oversoul. Yoh tries to make Anna stop the demon using happy thoughts, or Matamune will be in more trouble.
She is unable to do so as she doesn’t have happy memories. Matamune recalls how Hao gave him furyoku when he was a cat and understands this is where it will end. Matamune then gets back to the fight using Ultra Senji Ryakketsu: Shamanic Soul Pacification.
The demon escapes the attack and grabs Anna to use her power to get stronger. Matamune and Yoh are astonished that the demon shows intelligence. The demon runs away with Anna to Osorezan as there are more souls in that location.
Yoh goes after the demon, but Matamune tells him the path can’t be taken, for it’s the peak of winter. While running after the demon, Yoh trips and falls in front of an older man. In his state, Yoh tells Matamune he has to save her for this is his fault.
He also made a promise to her to fix her problem by becoming the shaman king. The older man hearing this mentions how fate made them meet. They then are seen venturing with a snowmobile to where Anna is taken.

Shaman King is a manga written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump from June 30, 1998.
The series received an abrupt end on August 30, 2004, leaving fans disappointed.
The manga received a reprint in 2009 to give its fans the true ending to the series. It also received an adaptation by studio Xebec in 2001 that was directed by Seiji Mizushima.
