1. Episode 6 Speculations
Episode 6 is titled ‘The Garden of Labyrinth.” The Debut Ceremony isn’t just a test for the Shadows and the living dolls, but also for Edward himself as a judge. This is his only opportunity to prove his worth before Lord Grandfather.
Edward needs to eliminate at least someone; otherwise, higher-ups will think he is lazy. That being said, he can’t just eliminate someone without any good reasons.
I think the Garden of Labyrinth is definitely a part of the Debut ceremony, and through this test, Edward will try his best to eliminate Kate. (Since she is already at the bottom)
Edward said before leaving, “Eat your sweets.” This must mean something apart from its obvious meaning, that will direct the living dolls to the next stage of the Debut ceremony.

Episode 6 of the Shadows House anime, titled “The Garden of Labyrinth”, has been released on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

I. The Day Before Debut
Emilico returns from her daily cleaning duty and finds out that the Debut ceremony will be held the next day. Kate looks a bit upset about Emilico’s negligence towards her for the last few days.
However, she takes good care of Emilico and asks her to get appropriate rest before the ceremony. The other Shadows do the same and prepare their dolls for the final trial.
II. The Debut Ceremony Begins
Edward guides the aspiring Shadows and their dolls to the dining hall, where the ceremony will take place. He tests them through a series of tricky questions.
Lou, the doll who was always spacing out in her cleaning duty, performs surprisingly well. Meanwhile, Emilco and Rum faces difficulty in connecting with their masterS.
Despite being in a vulnerable position herself, Emilico rushes to help Rum. Such a reckless move of leaving Kate behind brings them down to the lowest rank on the table.
Edward starts playing music, and all the Shadows and their dolls start dancing together. Kate was initially upset and anxious, but Emilico’s warm smile fills her with optimism. She uses her newfound ability to control Emilico’s movements.
III. The Garden of Labyrinth
After the dance session is over, Edward guides the Shadows to the lovely garden outside. Ricky tries to join them by gets a scolding from the judge for acting beyond his authority.
Before leaving, he asks the living dolls to eat their sweets. Can this be a clue for the next stage of the ceremony? We have to wait for the next episode to know it for sure.

5. About Shadows House
Shadows House is a slice of life supernatural manga by Soumatou. It was first released in Weekly Young Jump in September 2018.
The anime takes us to the mysterious, western-style mansion populated by a clan of “Shadows,” who imitate the trappings of human aristocracy. The Shadows have no faces and are attended by “Living dolls.”
The story follows Emiriko, a doll who serves Living Shadow Kate. Apart from being her maid, Emiriko is expected to become Kate’s “face” once her mistress is old enough to be introduced to the other mansion residents.
