Encountering a ghost at midnight in an empty office complex might sound terrifying, but the spirit that haunts Shachiku-san is way too cute to be afraid of.
In the Shachisaretai manga, the office complex’s residential spirit is so caring that her idea of haunting is to provide people with blankets, coffee, and a warm hug.
I’ve been waiting long enough for the manga to receive an anime adaptation, and finally, my wishes are getting fulfilled.
Shachiku-san wa Yоjo Yuurei ni Iyasaretai, or simply Shachisaretai, manga is inspiring an anime adaptation. A brand-new trailer has been revealed to tease the upcoming cuteness overlord.
The trailer begins with Shachiku-san narrating that her workplace is haunted, but when she discovers the extremely cute little ghost girl, her fear vanishes into thin air.
This ghost’s first priority is to get Shachiku to leave for home and rest, as she does not want this human to die overworking. Yet, she is so cute that Shachiku gets even more motivated to work. Go ahead and facepalm like I did.
With an adorable new visual, the series has announced its debut date:
Shachiku and the ghost girl make a cute duo in the group. As you can see here, Shachiku will soon take the spirit and all her pending tasks home with her.
Main cast members for the upcoming anime have also been revealed:
Character | Cast | Other Works |
Fushihara-san or Shachiku-san | Hisako Kanemoto | Erina Nakiri (Food Wars!) |
Yurei-chan | Rina Hidaka | Ren Yamai (Komi Can’t Communicate) |
Myako | Konomi Kohara | Chika Fujiwara (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) |
Kurahashi-san | Maaya Uchida | Hiyori Iki (Noragami) |
Lily | Kaori Ishihara | Yuzuha Mishima(Higehiro) |
Studio project No. 9 is animating the upcoming anime, but staff members have not been revealed yet.
This loli ghost story will be more kawaii than fun, and it reminds me of Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. Can the ghost girl rid Shachiku of her overworking habits? Or will her kindness get Shachiku even more motivated?
