Moordale Secondary Undergoes Serious Changes In Sex Education Teaser

Let’s talk about Sex baby Education.

Netflix dropped the first trailer for Season 3 of its hit teen comedy-drama, and it’s not a trailer… it’s an advertisement.

The new trailer shows our favorite characters in a new ad encouraging people to enroll in the newly redesigned Moordale Secondary. The clip introduces Moordale’s new headmistress, who is determined to get things back on track post headmaster Mr. Groff’s administrative leave.

The headmistress, Hope Haddon, is here to fix things and make Moordale a ‘pillar of excellence’ (and she already reminds me of Dolores Umbridge).

The clip parodies typical school ads with a poorly edited green screen backgrounds and cringe-y one lines said by students who look like they’d rather be anywhere else.

Maeve hilariously mentions the chlamydia outbreak from Season 2 as the shot abruptly cuts off. Others characters chime in and say their lines as well. Mr. Groff is seen sneaking behind a bush. It is a chaotic trailer, to say the least.

The clip ends with Maeve saying, “Choose Moordale, so all this can end.”

The trailer description reads:

With a new headmistress, new uniform, and a new attitude – it’s time for change at Moordale Secondary. Reopening our doors on September 17.

This explains why the characters were wearing uniforms for the first time in their first look images.

Things always get ‘Sirius’ when there’s a new headmistress. (see what I did there?)

Season 2 ended with the characters going through various changes. The synopsis for Season 3 mentions all these storylines.

It’s a new year, Otis is having casual sex, Eric and Adam are official, and Jean has a baby on the way. Meanwhile, new headteacher Hope tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee discovers feminism, Jackson gets a crush, and a lost voicemail still looms.

New cast members joining the ensemble are Jemima Kirke, Jason Isaacs, and Dua Saleh. Whereas returning cast members include Gillian Anderson, Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Aimee-Lou Wood, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Chaneil Kular, Simone Ashley, Mimi Keene, Tanya Reynolds, Mikael Persbrandt, Patricia Allison, Sami Outalbali, Anne-Marie Duff, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Samantha Spiro, Rakhee Thakrar, and Jim Howick.
