Seven Deadly Sins ended not long ago, and the series is already working on its sequels. Needless to say, the excitement is through the roof.
The infamous Sins put an end to the centuries-long Holy War in an epic finale, and now it’s time for the next generation to take their place. Yes, I’m talking about the protagonists’ kids and some other new characters.
Since it is a series based entirely on various folks like the Sins, it only makes sense that we get the Knights of the Apocalypse next.
Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine confirmed that the Seven Deadly Sins sequel manga series, Four Knights of the Apocalypse, is getting an anime adaptation.
Contrary to what you’d think. Meliodas and Elizabeth’s son Tristan is not the protagonist. Instead, the series introduces a new character Percival as the lead with a history with Camelot.
The series also features Ban and Elaine’s fairy-human hybrid son Lancelot. If you’re wondering who the fourth knight is, it will be like spoiling the fun for those who haven’t read the manga. But I’d give you a hint that it’s someone related to Arthur Pendragon.
Moreover, a new Seven Deadly Sins movie is slated to come out this year featuring Tristan. The plot is set right after the main series’ finale events because the teasers show Tristan as a kid.
There was a time when all we could think about was how to break Meliodas and Elizabeth’s tragic curse. In the end, our beloved characters were able to achieve it but for a hefty price.
Similarly, the new generation will bring their fair share of mysteries and curses with them. It will be a whole new adventure, and I’m ready for it.

The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from October 2012 to March 2020, with the chapters collected into forty-one tankōbon volumes.

They are Meliodas(Dragon’ sin of Wrath), Ban (Fox’ sin of Greed), Dianne (Serpent’s sin of Envy), Merlin (Boar’s sin of Gluttony), Escanor (Lion’ sin of Pride), Gowther (Goat’s sin of Lust) and King (Grizzly’ sin of Sloth).
Ten years ago, all the sins were banished from the Kingdom after they were wrongly framed for the murder of Great Holy Knight, Zaratars. Now, the Kingdom is about to fall in the hands of the corrupt Holy Knights, and Elizabeth must find the Sins and their leader Meliodas to save the Kingdom.
