Julian starts to have flashbacks of the night he found baby Jericho dead. Unable to let it go, he continues his investigation into whether Leanne is the baby’s real mother. Sean tells him not to interfere with the situation and let things be since the current arrangement works for them. Julian ignores him and secretly orders a DNA test but it ends up backfiring. Servant Season 3 Episode 4 Speculation
Julian tries to convince Dorothy that the baby isn’t hers after Roscoe delivers the negative DNA test report. He wants her to remember what had really happened but Dorothy doesn’t believe him and assumes he’s using drugs again. When it was revealed that the DNA sample he submitted wasn’t Dorothy’s, his case gets further weakened. Dorothy warns him never to do something like this again, as Leanne watches closely from behind.
Leanne will now grow more suspicious of any of Julian’s advances now that she knows he was only trying to get close to her to get her hair samples for a DNA test. Will Julian continue to investigate into the baby’s lineage? The bigger question – if the baby really is Leanne’s – remains unaswered.
Sean starts to cook meals for the homeless youth regularly and Dorothy is able to use this as an opportunity to get an exclusive story for the news channel. Servant Season 3 Episode 3 Recap
Julian has a flashback of the rainy day he found baby Jericho’s corpse and his sister in a catatonic state on the floor. After his conversation with Vera, he begins to wonder if there’s any way they can prove the baby is Leanne’s so they can figure out a way to make a legal claim over the baby. He suggests taking a DNA test to Sean so they can initiate some adoption proceedings.
Sean takes the baby for a walk in the park along with Leanne. Leanne is still on edge about her surroundings. Dorothy expresses her frustration over getting stuck hosting the beauty contest and not getting to cover the murder trial. Julian reaches out to Roscoe to help get a DNA test without anyone else finding out. Roscoe is hesitant at first, but eventually agrees and makes it clear that he’s only going to consult and doesn’t intend to step foot in the house.
Later that day, Roscoe asks Julain to get hair samples from the baby and Leanne. He’s able to get hair samples from the baby, but none from Leanne. Vera suggests that he get Dorothy’s samples instead, to prove that the baby isn’t hers. Since he is on a time crunch, he gets Dorothy’s hair from her hairbrush and hands it over to Roscoe. Leanne sees Roscoe at the door.
The test comes back negative and it turns out that the hairbrush Julian took the hair out of belonged to one of the moms from the mommy-and-me get-together Dorothy had hosted.
