Tozen Ujiie’s Seitokai Yakuindomo is a Japanese four panel gag manga about a new student, Tsuda Takatoshi, who is forced to join the student council while being its only male member.
The highly-anticipated sequel film was initially set to be released on July 10, 2020, three years after the release of their first film but was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The movie will premiere at Japanese theatres on New Year’s Day of 2021 in Japan.
The official website for Seitokai Yakuindomo 2 has released the second promotional video revealing the theme song on Friday.

The 60-second new trailer introduces the film’s theme song “Boys and Girls, Attention” by Triple Booking which captures the daily lives of students who attend Sakurasai Gakuen.
Triple Booking earlier composed the theme song for the anime “Seitokai Yakuindomo” series as well.
Triple Booking have voiced the main heroines in Seitokai Yakuindomo with Yoko Hikasa as Shino Amakusa, Satomi Sato as Aria Shichijo, and Sayuri Yahagi as Suzu Hagimura.
Miho Okasaki will be joining the cast taking on the role of Yu Hirose in the movie. The other cast members and staff from the previous film and other anime instalments of the franchise will return.
Set in a former all-girls private high school, Seitokai Yakuindomo centers around Ōsai Academy who will now have boys joining their institution because of the declining male population.
On his first day, Takatoshi Tsuda is forced to join the student council taking on the role of the vice president of the council being the lone male member surrounded by girls.
The story follows Tsuda and the rest of the student council as they interact with each other and their schoolmates.
About Seitokai Yakuindomo
Osai Academy has just turned into a co-ed school from an all-girls school due to the falling birth rates. As a result, the male is to female ratio is 28:524.
Takatoshi Tsuda is newly admitted to this school and is immediately recruited to the student council to represent the boys. The daily interactions amongst Takatoshi and the student council members is portrayed through the story.
