Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles episode 6, titled “Festival Night,” was released this week.

So far, Rio was surprise attacked by some Demi-Humans. They assumed that he was a kidnapper after seeing Latifa sleeping in his tent.

Once Latifa cleared the misunderstanding, the elders of the village formally apologized to Rio.

Rio and Latifa received Lady Dryas’ blessings in the form of a kiss during the Grand Spirit Festival. Reiss successfully managed to lure the Weiverns towards the village.

Rio defended the village by defeating the most powerful Weirvern causing the others to flee.

Episode 7 Speculations and Discussions

Episode 7 is titled “Land of Promises.” Now that Rio does not have to take care of Latifa, he can be a little carefree and pursue his goals.

I’m sure he will reach his parent’s hometown soon and uncover rather shocking secrets. 

He is also aware of Haruto’s conscience that dwells inside him, so eventually, he will struggle with suppressing Haruto. 

However, after taking his time to process everything, I’m sure that he will be able to come to terms with Haruto’s conscience and have a mutually beneficial agreement. 

Episode 7 Release Date

Recap of Episode 6

Episode 6, titled “Festival Night,” starts off Rio and Latifa receiving Lady Dryas’ blessing as they have contributed a lot to the development of the village in the one year that they have been there.

The festival continues, and everyone is having fun. Orphia and Sara get drunk and tell Rio how they want to be closer friends. 

Rio, who is socially awkward, agrees to it and even says how they will always be his close friends. The girls then decide to get more drinks and enjoy the festival.

Ursula approaches Rio and states how Latifa has changed significantly from one year back. Rio tells her that he thinks it is time to leave Latifa in their care and part ways.

Rio takes Latifa aside and tells her that he plans on leaving soon and won’t be taking her with him. She is adamant about accompanying him, but he refuses, due to which she throws a tantrum.  

Meanwhile, Reiss has manipulated his mate to do his bidding. He makes him hold a Weivern egg, even though he knows that the parents are on their way to retrieve it. 

As the parent Weirverns approach the village, Reiss heads back to their nest and retrieves the remaining eggs. After he is done with his work, he kills his companion, which causes the egg to break. 

Enraged, the Weiverns go on a rampage. The girls try to defend their village against them, but they are being overpowered. 

Latifa unknowingly puts herself in danger and is about to be trampled by the Black Weivern when Rio arrives and defeats it quickly. As the Black Weivern is the strongest out of them all, the other Weiverns flee in fear. 

The episode ends with Latifa and the others bidding Rio farewell by providing him with necessary pieces of equipment and rare items.
