Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Episode 2: Release Date, Speculation, And Watch Online

Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles episode 1, titled “Memories of the Previous World,” was released this week.

Haruto died in his world after being hit by a train while traveling in a bus. However, he regained consciousness in the body of a young boy named Rio, who resides in a different world than Haruto. 

However, Rio was suddenly aware of Haruto’s memories. With the help of these memories, he was able to save Princess Flora.

Episode 2 is titled “Royal Academy.”

It’s easy to tell that as a reward for rescuing the princess, Rio will ask for his admission to the Royal Academy. 

However, it would be even more impactful if the King himself recognizes Rio’s potential and offers to admit him to the academy rather than Rio asking for it.

I’m sure since Celia already taught Rio how to present himself in front of nobility, we will get to see her teach him many other things. 

Since this is a Harem anime, we might as well consider Celia and the princesses to be the first to fall for Rio.  

2. Episode 2 Release Date

Episode 2 of the Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles anime, titled “Royal Academy”, has been released on Tuesday, Jul 13, 2021.

No, Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles is not on break this week. Episode 2 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

3. Recap of Episode 1

Episode 1, titled “Memories of the Previous World,” starts off with Haruto remembering his childhood promise of getting married to Mii while onboard a bus. Unfortunately, the bus goes out of control and is crashed into by a train. 

Haruto regains consciousness in the form of memories in the body of a young boy named Rio. Even though Rio has no idea what is happening, memories of Haruto’s past life are flashing through his head. 

Rio, who was sick till recently, was rudely greeted by some of the other commoners who live in the slum. They just completed an easy job and were paid handsomely for it, because of which they were eating lavishly. 

Rio goes out to freshen up as the others didn’t want him around. Four women of nobility then confront him. 

At first, some of them were very insensitive while questioning him. Finally, one of them, who introduces herself as Celia, greets him politely and asks him if he has seen a girl with purple hair. 

Rio admits to not having seen this girl. However, he also tells them that it would be wise for nobility to avoid exploring the slums, as it could stir up trouble for them. 

So they decide to come back in disguise, so they can continue searching for the girl. Celia pays Rio for his time, and they part ways. 

As Rio returns to his place, he is attacked by a person who killed the rest of his fellow slum dwellers who were eating lavishly. But, surprisingly, he is able to awaken his latent powers, and he defeats the guy.

Rio then sees a moving bag and opens it to see the girl with purple hair in it. She asks him to take her back to the castle, and while he does so, he is caught by the four women of nobility. 

The women take him back with them to the castle as they suspect that he is the one who kidnapped her. Until the princess awoke, Rio is beaten by the Vice-Captain, forcing him to admit that he is an accomplice of the kidnappers.

But once the princess woke up, she testified that Rio saved her life and she is indebted to him. Next, Celia heals Rio’s wounds, which he received from the Vice-Captain.  

The episode ends with Rio presenting himself to the King after being asked to do so in order to be rewarded for rescuing the Princess.

The story follows an orphan boy named Rio, the reincarnation of Haruto Amakawa, a Japanese university student. Slowly he discovers about the tragic death in his past life.
