Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles episode 12, titled “Fated Reunion,” was released this week.

So far, we have seen Rio and Celia’s reunion. Even though she was ecstatic to see him, she chose to distance herself from him by telling him to leave. Later, during the initial stage of her wedding, she expressed her discontentment.

In the latest episode, our boy Rio showed off his powers and rescued Celia, who was forced to wed Charles. He singlehandedly took on the Kingdom’s entire military force and escaped unscathed.

Episode 13 of the anime Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles has not been announced yet.

As of now, there are no official announcements regarding the release date of the second season.

Nonetheless, fans hope to see a second season and look forward to the upcoming arcs as they were very content with the first season.

We will get to see the story take a different turn as Haruto meets his love interest from his previous life.

Recap of Episode 12

Episode 12, titled “Fated Reunion,” starts with Rio charging in against the Kingdom’s military strength to rescue Celia. He is not willing to let her sacrifice her happiness for the sake of others by forcefully getting married.

Rio finally shows off his spirit powers. He uses his powers to make huge leaps and fly over a large number of soldiers.

In this way, he reaches Celia in no time. Yet, there are some soldiers in his way.

Charles assures Celia that she has nothing to worry about as these soldiers are top tier, and handpicked by him.

Rio eliminates them all before Charles can even finish his sentence and hits Charles with a super-strong punch, causing him to fall to the floor.

Rio then tells Celia that he will immediately take her away from the Kingdom and away from this wedding if she consents.

Celia tells him that she wants him to take her away. Rio immediately acts on it and escapes from the soldiers.

Yet, some of the soldiers are able to catch up to him through aerial means. He then hands Celia over to Aishia and acts as a distraction so they can escape.

As he does this, he faces Alfred, who is known as one of the strongest soldiers in the Kingdom. Alfred puts up a tough fight, but Rio somehow manages to escape as his priority is not to kill anyone.

Rio then reunites with Aishia and Celia, successfully escaping from the Kingdom.

The episode ends with largely concentrated rays of light shooting into the sky from different places and Aishia pleading Rio for his help.
