Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles episode 11, titled “Silver Bride,” was released this week.

So far, we saw how Rio decided to go back to the capital. Before that, he was able to awaken the Spirit within him that has formed a covenant with him.

We already knew that Rio was overpowered, but now that his Spirit has awakened, he is almost undefeatable. 

In the latest episode, we got to see Rio and Celia’s reunion. Even though she was ecstatic to see him, she chose to distance herself from him by telling him to leave. Later, during the initial stage of her wedding, she expressed her discontentment.

Episode 12 is titled “Fated Reunion.”

We can count on the fact the next episode is definitely going to be chaotic. 

I don’t know what’s going on in Rio’s mind, but I know he is not stupid. 

If he charged in to rescue Celia from Charle’s clutches, I’m sure he is prepared for the consequences, or he probably thinks that he will be able to pull it off. 

I cannot wait to see Rio finally show his true powers, which he has been training for the past few years.

Recap of Episode 11

Episode 11, titled “Silver Bride,” starts with Rio learning about all the events that occurred during his absence. 

He also learns that Celia is set to marry Charles just so that the Kingdom of Beltrum and Proxia Empire can be on good terms. 

Aishia decides to help Rio investigate by using her spirit form. Rio further warns her, saying that she could trigger magical traps. 

Meanwhile, Count Claire finally meets his daughter, Celia, before the wedding. They meet up with Charles for a pre-wedding dinner to catch up on things. 

Count Claire confirms the security for the wedding and is glad to hear that his daughter will not be in danger. 

He also shows his dismay towards the wedding but cannot stop it since he does not have any option but to oblige.

Charles subtly makes it clear that after the wedding, Count Claire will be like his puppets. He also calls Count Claire out for associating with the past rulers, which is a crime. 

Later, Celia is in her room and reminisces on the past. She wishes that she could have got to meet Rio one last time. 

To her surprise, Rio walks into her room and greets her. She is unable to believe her eyes. They talk for a while before Rio confronts her about her feelings towards her upcoming marriage. 

Celia jokingly tells him to take her away to a faraway land and be with her forever. She then shuns him off and tells him to leave so she can sleep well. 

The following day, Celia is all dressed up and prepared for the wedding. Charles introduces her to his other wives, who tell her to stay in her lane. 

The episode ends with Rio crashing the wedding ceremony as he feels like Celia is forcing herself to do something that does not make her happy.
