Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles episode 10, titled “A Spirit’s Awakening,” was released this week.

So far, we got to know that Rio comes from Royalty. It was tough getting to know the exact details of his past, including the gruesome details of his mother’s death. I’m just glad that Rio finally got to get some closure regarding his family’s past.

In the latest episode, Rio decided to go back to the capital. Before that, he was able to awaken the Spirit within him that has formed a covenant with him.

We already knew that Rio was overpowered, but now that his Spirit has awakened, he is almost undefeatable.

Episode 11 is titled “Silver Bride.”

There is no way that Rio will let Celia get married to his old enemy. Neither do I think that Celia is marrying him out of her own free will. 

There definitely is more happening behind the scenes that are yet to be uncovered. 

I just hope Rio makes it on time and is able to interrupt the wedding. Obviously, that’s not going to go down peacefully. We will definitely see Rio establish his presence by defeating multiple strong enemies.

Recap of Episode 10

Episode 10, titled “A Spirit’s Awakening,” starts with Rio waking up next to a naked girl whose identity is unknown.

Surprised by this, he lets out a shriek, causing everyone to enter his room and witness the same. 

The girl then wakes up and leans on Rio. Upon questioning her identity, she claims that she is a spirit that has formed a covenant with Haruto. 

The others are confused about who Haruto is. On the other hand, Rio knew precisely what she meant.

Rio asks her how she knows about Haruto, and she proceeds to say that she knows everything about him since she used to be within him. 

She asks Rio to name her as she is nameless. Rio sees a bit of resemblance from someone in his previous life and decides to call her Aishia.

Since she is a spirit, they go to see the village elders to learn more about her. Lady Dryas appears and asks Aishia her specialty. 

Aishia replies, saying that she excels in every magical element. The elders then suggest that Rio battle Aishia to gauge her strength. 

Nonetheless, the battle is put to a stop as it would cause severe damages to the village. 

Rio decides to leave the village and head back to the capital to meet Celia the following day. The episode ends with Rio learning that Celia is going to marry Charles, his old enemy.
