Baba Voss secretly returns and warns Maghra about the Trivantians’ new weapon. Once he finds out that Kane kills Paris, he decides to go after her. Will Baba kill Kane?

5. Episode 2 Recap
The explosion caused by Tormada’s bomb kills Lion but Baba Voss manages to survive. Baba blames himself for Lion’s death as he believes the Trivantians came there looking for him. He then decides to head back to Paya.
Meanwhile, Maghra still feels conflicted about handing over Queen Kane. She heads down to see the witchfinders who are now behind bars and considers killing them in an attempt to keep Kane alive. Kane tells her that sometimes you need to do bad things for the greater good of the kingdom.
Wren goes to visit Olomon and tells him that Haniwa is still alive. Olomon tells her that Edo was the one that killed Jerlameral. The two of them then come up with a plan to free his family. However, when they try to escape, Olomon is stabbed and ends up bleeding to death.
