Meanwhile, Tormada succeeds in locating Baba Voss and vows to kill his wife and kids. Bow Lion tries to get into an offensive position but ends up getting blown away by the explosive Tormada planted.

The episode opens eight months in the future after the epic battle. At the Trivantian-Granite border, a small convoy commanded by Wren is forced to retreat after being surrounded by all sides. The mission was to suppress the uprising. However, they seem to be on the losing side of the battle.
The chief scientist who worked under Edo, named Tormada, shows up and taunts Wren, reiterating that she’s on the losing side of the battle. Determined to finish what Edo started with the help of explosives, he forces Wren into an alliance with him. His next targets are Paya and Baba Voss.
He heads East in this endeavor and leaves General Maddox behind to keep a watch on things in his absence. Meanwhile, Baba Voss is living in the woods and had been living with Lu for the past couple of months.
Elsewhere, Queen Kane finally gives birth to her child. With an ever-growing resentment towards Kane, Maghra feels conflicted about handing her over to the Trivantians, as was the deal she’d agreed to.
