In episode 7, titled “The Queen’s Speech,” the Payan Kingdom and the Trivantian Tribe appear to be on the verge of war. Tamacti Jun may appear during a royal court session, surprising Sibeth and everyone else who thought he was dead.
He’ll accuse Sibeth of trying to kill Kanzua and destroying him. The Witchfinders will all switch sides and support Tamacti Jun. Sibeth will seek help from Maghra out of desperation, not realising that her sister has finally given up on her.
She will ask the military to intervene if she is facing a coup, but Harlan will declare Pennsa’s support for Maghra. If they try to execute Sibeth, however, her possible pregnancy will be made public.
Baba will be adamant that neither of his children go to war, but they will ignore his warnings. Maghra may give a speech in front of her soldiers as the new Payan queen. She’ll remind them why they have to fight in this conflict.
