Secret Cameo from ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ Revealed

A recent leak has revealed the secret cameo to be featured in the much-anticipated Zack Snyder’s Justice League. After his interview with Vanity Fair, in which the director stated he “has reshot the ending with a hero cameo that will blow hardcore fans’ minds,” many began to wonder who it could be. 

One to deny a comeback is Ryan Reynolds, who tweeted “It’s not me,” to many fans’ assumptions of his character Green Lantern’s return. Other possibilities include Supergirl, Harley Quinn, or even Black Adam, which would signify newcomer Dwayne Johnson’s entry to the franchise. However, the likelihood of the secret cameo being Black Adams seems slim as The Rock has only just started training for the Black Adams film, which will begin filming sometime this spring.

Now, one website has claimed they know the identity of the character who will be in the cameo. Gizmodo, who has reported the news, has spoken to a close source who has “knowledge of the film.” According to them, it will be Martian Manhunter.

Although Manhunter’s feature in the upcoming movie has been known for a while now, the website has said the magazine was perhaps hesitant to leak spoilers as its readership doesn’t constitute individuals up to date with superhero news.

However, now with Gizmodo‘s confirmation about Manhunter’s appearance, fans seem to be a bit taken aback. Harry Lennix, who plays General Swanwick, has previously confirmed on multiple occasions about Manhunter’s cameo, who many have speculated is J’onn J’onzz. Along with a trailer from August, which also teased the appearance, Snyder too apparently confirmed the news revealing parts of Martin Mindhunter’s design and dialogue.

Nonetheless, it is yet to be seen whether this report is accurate or not. But, if it is, it would be a little disappointing. A well-known appearance like this can hardly be considered mind-blowing, much unlike Swanwick’s appearance in Man of Steel. Even so, there is still hope that the secret cameo might not be Manhunter and someone else, but until the Snyder Cut is out, all remains under speculation.
