A new world consisting of humans and artificial human-like robot life forms will unfold this summer. ‘AI no Idenshi’ is set in a world where the two life forms coexist. However, the artificial life forms suffer from their own set of problems, making them seem more human than mere looks.
A doctor specializes in helping these life forms, precisely called ‘humanoids. He might also go beyond protocol to help them out if he can.
The official website for the anime adaptation of ‘AI no Idenshi’ revealed a new trailer and visual on Friday. It also revealed two more cast members and theme song artists. The trailer reveals that the anime will debut on July 7.
The video shows many characters that have not been revealed yet. Hikaru Sudō, the doctor tries to help his patients and one of them may require formatting the brain. Risa can be seen calling out to Sudo. The video also shows the two new characters – Jay and Kaoru.
GReeeeN has performed the ending song “Wasurenagusa” (Forget-me-not) in the background. The opening song is “No Frontier” by Aile The Shota.
As per the website, the following artists will voice the characters:
Character | Voice Artist | Other Works |
Hikaru Sudō | Takeo Ōtsuka | Aquamarine Hoshino (Oshi no Ko) |
Risa Higuchi | Yume Miyamoto | Raeliana McMillan (Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion) |
Jay | Mutsuki Iwanaka | Haruki Yamauchi (Classroom of the Elite) |
Kaoru | Natsumi Takamori | Raiha Uesugi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) |
Hikaru Sudō stands in the front in the visual above, with stills from the trailer in the background. The following list shows the main staff members helming the series:
Position | Staff | Other Works |
Director | Yuzo Sato | Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge, Police in a Pod |

The staff looks quite strong, with a few members having worked together before. From the trailer, the animation looks fine but not appealing enough. On the other hand, the story looks interesting, with the coexistence already established. It looks like an episodic series though. What do you think?
