A teaser visual and a new cast member for season 2 of ‘Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku’ was revealed at the Jump Festa ’24 event. It is expected that Crunchyroll will keep streaming the series.

The key visual feature is the main character, Gabimaru.
Season 1 of the anime adapted the Lord Tensen Arc (up to manga chapter 59), and season 2 is expected to cover the Hōrai Arc (chapters 60–110).

The upcoming season will follow Gabimaru, his companions, and the dangers ahead. The surviving criminals and executioners will ally to defeat Lord Tensen, acquire the Elixir of Life, and escape the island.
The situation will worsen with the arrival of the second landing party and Zhu Jin, a member of Lord Tensen, who will use the Banko to take over Hōrai.
Ryōta Suzuki (known for Yuu Ishigami in Kaguya Sama and Ryuusui in Dr. Stone) will play the character of Yamada Asaemon Shugen, who first appeared in the first season’s 13th and final episode. The remaining cast members from the previous season are expected to return.
Studio Mappa will continue with the production in the upcoming season with the help of the returning staff. There is no information about the release date of season 2, but we hope it will be announced soon.

Gabimaru: The Hollow is a ninja assassin who is on death row. He feels nothing and can’t be killed due to his training as a shinobi. Yet, when he faces Asaemon Sagiri, he realizes his will to live and return to his wife.
He is assigned the task to find the elixir of life on a legendary island. The island kills any person sent to it. Will Gabimaru find the elixir and escape alive?
