Episode 6 Recap
As we learned in episode 5, the information collected by Arika’s manga readers was subjective, which made it impossible for them to analyze the data. Shinya discovered Ayame’s true feelings and confessed them to him. Hence, the story continued in episode 6 to make things even more interesting.
At the beginning of episode 6, Shinya asks Ayame to repeat his words while he is coding and losing his mind. After this, she mentions a difference in her previous confession, where she said she “seemed to be in love” with him. Ayame smiles when he remembers what she said.
As a result, Shinya suggests that they discuss her theory of love towards him. When asked to explain her statement, she cooly says that without a theory, she is an unqualified member of the Data Science team. In the end, Shinya and he go on a date where they talk about how they are similar to people in love.
Shinya, on the other hand, is trying to understand the criteria by which they can make a determination of who is truly in love. After analyzing all the types of love they have seen, they come up with a solution of finding a common factor.
Shinya believes that they can prove their love with this. The two are pondering things related to love as they walk home. Shinya will not come to a conclusion as easily as Ayame when she gets emotional and is sure of her love.
